About Artvent

Thank you for your future signing up to The Arts Society’s Artvent Calendar and joining us for this new exciting endeavour, which we hope will bring you some joy and light this December.

Look out for our emails each day from 1st to 31st December. Each morning, a window will open to reveal that day’s gift. Some days it might be a short lecture from one of our expert Accredited Lecturers, on others we’ll share poems, dance and other delights to entertain and illuminate.

This year’s theme of light allows us to celebrate and enjoy the arts from different cultures around the world. From a Nobel Prize winning Indian poet, to contemporary light installations and luminous Russian artefacts, the topics will be diverse. Some will be familiar, some thought provoking and some unexpected.

The Artvent Calendar is free for all to enjoy. All are welcome to sign up here: theartssociety.org/artvent
